Jeffrey S. Bardos
President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Bardos is a Director at Promontory Financial Group, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Promontory Asset Finance Company. He assists clients in treasury, liquidity and liability management matters. Before joining Promontory, he was the Principal at Bardos Consulting, providing consulting services to U.S. corporations and participating in the creation and expansion of a "born on the Web" company.

From 1990 to 1999, Mr. Bardos worked at Bankers Trust Company, holding positions as Vice President in the Global Treasury Group, Managing Director, and Deputy to the Country Officer of Japan. He returned to the United States to help re-engineer Bankers Trust's Derivatives Group. He created and managed the Prime Brokerage Business for BT Alex Brown.

Mr. Bardos started his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was Staff Director of the Bank Supervision Group. He helped negotiate the BIS Capital Adequacy guidelines and co-authored the Fed's original risk-based capital guidelines. He graduated with a M.B.A from Columbia University in and a B.A. from Bucknell University.
